About me

                 Hi!

Random stuff about me

I became aware that I would like to do something related to languages during the time I lived in France as an au pair. I was looking for a change of scenery and found my true calling. Later, during some summer courses in Ireland (how short they were!), I realised that languages had to be my modus vivendi: I had a gift with languages and, in addition, I enjoyed learning them.

The desire to improve my speaking skills made me look for interaction with people whose mother tongue was English or French. Apart from expanding my vocabulary and improving my diction, this helped me banish my fear to embarrassment and become a more open-minded, tolerant person with a more renewed view of things. It is known that, when we learn a new language, we inevitably become interested in its culture (history, geography, gastronomy, music), which makes us grow and even gives us a new and much more global personality.

Over time, and already with a significant mastery of both languages, I could enjoy reading, writing, translating and correcting them more than ever. And then, I felt the irrepressible need to share this knowledge with other people and make them discover, as it had happened to me, the new horizons that open up when you learn new languages. That is why in 2015 I embarked on the adventure of opening a language school, which to this day has allowed me to fulfill my dream of teaching and has led me to meet people from all backgrounds and ages, who have gifted me with experience, humanity and great moments.

What do I like doing in my free time? Have a guess: crosswords, word games, following language accounts on Instagram, reading novels with a red pencil ready to spot a mistake, and stalking tourists in case they need help finding somewhere or have trouble making themselves understood.
